Career
Woodward co-founded Bananarama with Dallin and Fahey, releasing their debut song “Aie a Mwana” in 1981. They produced a streak of UK top 10 successes, including “Venus,” which topped the American charts in 1986. Fahey departed the band in 1988 and was replaced in 1991 by Jacquie O’Sullivan. Woodward and Dallin were a pair from 1991 until 2017. They met Fahey in April 2017 and were honored with the Icon Award at the Glamour Awards in June 2017. The trio toured the UK in November and December 2017 and North America in February 2018. They performed their last gigs as a trio in August 2018.
